Job Description & Experience Requirements:
- Resolve new and escalated service tickets in Autotask, provide guidance for or personally resolve aging and complex issues
- Answering the phone for clients calling in for assistance
- Troubleshooting client issues over the phone/remotely on their computer
- Resetting computer and email passwords
- Windows 7, 8, and 10 troubleshooting
- Outlook and email setup/configuration
- Work with vendors to resolve client issues
- Network understanding, troubleshooting & Packet tracing
- Server troubleshooting & deployments
- Active Directory/Group Policy work
- Hyper-V, Server 2016, VMware and server design
- Computer hardware diagnostics & replacement
- Backup & disaster recovery
- Project deployment and management
- iPhone, iPad & Apple hardware and software troubleshooting
- Advanced software diagnostics
- Working with RMM tools including ticketing, patch management, health and reliability of managed devices
- Responsible for client appointments off-site as they arise
- Serve as top tier escalation point for team and manage escalated issues
- Take part in after hours On Call rotation
Additional Required Skills & Abilities:
- Ticketing software experience is a plus
- Remote Monitoring software experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related field OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
- A minimum of 4+ years as an IT Engineer, working in Microsoft Environments
- Azure active directory experience
- Microsoft Azure servers and services
- MCSA, MCSE, & Network+ (Preferred but not required)
- Datto Certified (Preferred but not required)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Patience to deal with difficult customers and situations
- Need to be fully qualified to perform technical tasks listed above
- Motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
- Motivated to learn and adapt to areas you may be unfamiliar with
- No criminal history
- Good driving record & ability to pass drug screening
